What are the chances of being hit by a meteorite?

I've just seen Known Universe and suddenly realized that i am scared of being hit by an asteroid  

It turns out it is quite likely, well about 1 in 700,000.

Odds of being killed on a single trip in a plane crash is 1 in 52.6 million

Odds of being in a car accident is 1 in 140

Odds of dying from heart attack is 1 in 3!

Obviously  it is almost impossible to get accurate calculation and i am not sure where those sites I've linked got their calculations.
